Living to Serve is a Christian, non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO). We watch over the welfare of low-income families in the area of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. We coordinate with clinical and surgical volunteer teams to bring healthcare to the rural communities we work with, and our health and education programs uplift as many Guatemalans as we are able to reach. Every individual helped is an investment in the development and empowerment of Guatemala.
Our Mission
We are an organization dedicated to empowering low-income families in remote communities through education and health programs. We promote and encourage foreign and local volunteerism with the goal of glorifying God through service to others.

To shape generations with a better quality of life—empowered, physically and spiritually healthy, and committed to serving and expanding God's kingdom.
We serve Guatemala through five programs. Three are specifically health-oriented (Clinics, Preventative Health, and Nutrition), while the other two (Elderly Care and Education) focus on social development.
